The Doctoral Program in Law (DIH) of the Faculty of Law (FH) at Untar underwent an on-site assessment by the assessment team from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN-PT) as part of the program’s re-accreditation process. The activity took place on Wednesday, June 18, 2025, at Building M, Untar Campus I.

The assessment was conducted by two BAN-PT assessors: Prof. Dr. Yuliandri, S.H., M.H. from Universitas Andalas and Prof. Dr. Azhari, S.H., MCL., MA. from Universitas Syiah Kuala. The activity aimed to verify and evaluate the overall implementation of education and academic management of the Doctoral Program in Law (DIH) to ensure the sustainability of quality higher education.
In his remarks, the Rector of Untar, Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., emphasized the importance of the assessment process as part of the ongoing efforts to improve the quality of education both at the program and institutional levels.
“I am confident that this re-accreditation process is a crucial step in ensuring the quality and excellence of education, both for the Doctoral Program in Law and for Untar as a whole,” he stated.
Full support for this activity was also expressed by the Chairman of the Tarumanagara Foundation and Professor of the Faculty of Law at Untar, Prof. Dr. Ariawan Gunadi, S.H., M.H. According to him, the assessment by BAN-PT is part of the Foundation’s long-term commitment to maintaining academic quality.
“We, from the Tarumanagara Foundation, fully support Untar’s efforts in maintaining and enhancing the quality of education, especially in the Doctoral Program in Law,” stated Prof. Ariawan.
Meanwhile, Prof. Yuliandri, representing the BAN-PT assessor team, emphasized that the accreditation process is carried out objectively and transparently, upholding integrity to ensure the validity of the assessment results.
The Head of the Doctoral Program in Law at Untar, Prof. Dr. Mella Ismelina F.R., S.H., M.Hum., along with the leadership of the Faculty of Law, accompanied the assessor team throughout the assessment process.
Through this assessment, Untar once again demonstrated its commitment to maintaining high standards in higher education and to offering academic programs that are excellent, adaptive, and responsive to global challenges.
