Untar held the opening of the on-site assessment for the accreditation of the Master of Accounting Program by the Independent Accreditation Agency for Economics, Management, Business, and Accounting (LAMEMBA) on Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Untar Campus I.
The assessment was attended by two LAMEMBA assessors: Prof. Dr. Inten Meutia, S.E., Ak., MAcc., CA., CSRS. from Universitas Sriwijaya and Prof. Eko Ganis Sukoharsono, S.E., M.Com.Hons., Ph.D. from Universitas Brawijaya.

In his remarks, the Rector of Untar, Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., emphasized that this assessment serves as a form of academic accountability by the program management to the public and external institutions, aimed at ensuring quality and continuously improving the standard of learning.
Prof. Inten Meutia explained that the assessment process aims to ensure alignment between learning management and the established qualification standards. This serves as an important foundation for strengthening academic quality.
In line with this, Prof. Eko Ganis Sukoharsono added that the assessment is not merely an administrative evaluation, but a reflective forum for sharing best practices and objectively improving the system. According to him, LAMEMBA’s principle is continuous quality improvement based on clear and structured measurement foundations. (VC/AJ)
