The Faculty of Medicine at Tarumanagara University (FK Untar) has achieved a remarkable milestone by earning an “Excellent” Accreditation from the Independent Accreditation Institute for Higher Education in Health (LAM-PTKes). This top accreditation was awarded to two programs within FK Untar—the Medical Doctor Profession Program and the Undergraduate Medical Program—following a field assessment conducted in March 2025.

This designation is officially stated in the LAM-PTKes decrees No. 0482/LAM-PTKes/Akr/Pro/IV/2025 for the Medical Doctor Profession Program and No. 0481/LAM-PTKes/Akr/Sar/IV/2025 for the Undergraduate Medical Program.
The Rector of Untar, Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., expressed his appreciation for the achievement, recognizing it as the result of collaboration and dedication from the entire academic community. He emphasized that this accreditation serves as tangible proof of Untar’s commitment to delivering excellent medical education that is relevant to the needs of society.
“This achievement also serves as motivation for Untar to continuously enhance its learning system, research, and collaborative networks in order to further strengthen the quality of its graduates,” he stated.
The Dean of FK Untar, Dr. dr. Noer Saelan Tadjudin, Sp.KJ., added that such assessments are an essential part of the evaluation and continuous development process. He further stated that FK Untar will continue to innovate and adapt to the evolving dynamics of global medical education.
With this achievement, FK Untar reinforces its position as an adaptive, competitive, and highly capable medical education institution, firmly committed to maintaining the quality of education in a sustainable manner.
