Entrepreneur Week is not merely an exhibition, but a comprehensive, concrete, and practical learning platform for our students to experience the business world firsthand,” said Dr. Frangky Selamat, S.E., M.M., Head of the Undergraduate Business Management Program at FEB Untar, during the closing ceremony of the 21st Entrepreneur Week at Emporium Pluit Mall.

The Faculty of Economics and Business at Tarumanagara University (FEB Untar), in collaboration with Emporium Pluit Mall and supported by the Faculty of Art and Design (FSRD) Untar, successfully held Entrepreneur Week 2025 under the theme “Goes Beyond Sustainable Business.” This annual event ran for six full days and officially concluded on Sunday (June 8, 2025), marked by high enthusiasm from students, lecturers, and visitors alike.

Dr. Frangky added that this event is an integral part of the learning curriculum, emphasizing real-world business models and simulations. He expressed his appreciation to all students, supervising lecturers, and everyone involved for their strong collaboration in making the event a success. “Many alumni of Entrepreneur Week have now gone on to run their own businesses. This is proof that the experience is highly valuable and helps shape resilient entrepreneurial character,” he explained.

Throughout the event, students showcased creative business ideas in the form of tenants, complete with products, services, and marketing strategies they designed and executed themselves. Not only from the Business Management Program, tenants from Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and FSRD also contributed, enriching the diversity of innovations on display.

As a form of appreciation, the committee presented several awards to the best-performing tenants, including: The Best Innovation Product, The Most Competitive Product, The Best Service, The Best Performance, and The Best Implementation. Sweeterra, a tenant by Business Management students, proudly earned two prestigious awards: The Best Implementation and The Most Competitive Product.

Team representative, Jevanya Joeliza Sharonlim, expressed her pride. “It feels incredible to prove that the courage to try opens up many opportunities. Entrepreneur Week has truly been a starting point that motivates us to go even further,” she said.

To close the event, visitors at Emporium Pluit Mall were treated to performances by FEB Untar students, including vocal solos, modern dance, band performances, and a magic show by the Tarumanagara Magic Federation Student Activity Unit (FESTA). The event successfully captured the attention of a diverse audience and became a vibrant celebration of creativity.

The 21st Entrepreneur Week reaffirms Untar’s commitment to shaping graduates who are not only academically excellent but also ready to compete and contribute in the real business world—through an innovative and impactful experiential learning approach.
