In the ever-changing economic cycle, an entrepreneurial spirit has become one of the essential competencies that the younger generation must possess. The Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) together with the Faculty of Art and Design (FSRD) of Tarumanagara University (Untar) consistently organize the 21st Entrepreneur Week, carrying the theme “Goes Beyond Sustainable Business,” which takes place from June 3 to 8, 2025, at Emporium Mall Pluit, North Jakarta.
In his opening remarks, the Dean of FEB Untar, Dr. Sawidji Widoatmojo, S.E., M.M., M.B.A., stated, “FEB Untar carries a mission to shape the younger generation not only to possess knowledge but also to become entrepreneurs who create tangible and impactful outcomes,” he expressed.
The Head of the Undergraduate Business Management Program at Untar, Dr. Frangky Selamat, S.E., M.M., also expressed his appreciation to all lecturers and students who participated in this event. “Great appreciation goes to the organizing committee who, year after year, remain consistent and enthusiastic in making this event a success. It is hoped that the students will continue and further develop the businesses they have started,” he stated.

Through the 21st Entrepreneur Week, students actively participated by setting up booths and selling products to visitors. This involvement provided them with hands-on experience in communication, marketing, and business management skills.
The collaboration between FSRD and FEB Untar in this event highlights how the power of design plays a crucial role in enhancing both the visual appeal and the market value of a product. From attractive booth displays and creative product packaging to engaging promotional materials, design elements help drive consumer interest and boost purchasing decisions.
This event proves that the collaboration between creativity and business strategy can produce tangible and valuable outcomes. The 21st Entrepreneur Week demonstrates Untar’s commitment to promoting an education that goes beyond theory—emphasizing practical experiences that create real impact for society. (MS/AJ/YS)
