The team CariDead, consisting of students from the Bachelor of Management Program at the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Untar, Vivian Julianti Huang (115230036) and Ferdyanto Gunawan (115230003), successfully secured 2nd place in the Management Competition (Business Plan Competition) organized by the Student Association of the Bachelor of Management Program at Universitas Mercu Buana. The event was held at the Prof. Husen Zein Auditorium on Wednesday, April 17.
In this competition, Team CariDead presented their idea called FitVision, a fashion assistant powered by Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Augmented Reality (AR). The concept aims to reduce product return rates and enhance customer satisfaction in the online fashion industry.
FitVision offers a technological solution that enables users to virtually simulate wearing clothes, allowing consumers to make more accurate purchasing decisions. This innovation is expected to support more efficient and sustainable production and consumption, aligning with Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) 12: Responsible Consumption and Production.
Vivian expressed that their success was the result of in-depth research and strong teamwork. “We hope that FitVision won’t just remain a competition idea, but can be further developed and make a real impact on the digital fashion industry,” she said.
The competition was participated in by dozens of teams from various universities across Indonesia, serving as a platform for students to sharpen their creativity and strategic thinking skills in tackling the challenges of the modern business world. (VH/YS/AJ/VC)
