The Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Law at Tarumanagara University (BEM FH Untar) held the third edition of the Tarumanagara Law-faculty Sport Fest (TLSF) in 2025. This year’s event carried the theme “Harmony Across Generations.” The opening ceremony was officiated by Vedrych J. Kusnanto, S.Kom., Secretary of the Tarumanagara Foundation Board, and Rugun Romaida Hutabarat, S.H., Head of the Undergraduate Law Program. The event was also attended by participants from various universities who took part in TLSF 2025.
The event took place from April 15 to 17, 2025, at the Tarumanagara Arena, Campus I of Tarumanagara University, and will conclude with a closing ceremony featuring a music concert on May 4, 2025. Adding to the excitement, the closing event will be enlivened by a performance from the talented and currently popular young singer, Bernadya.
Baharuddin Jusuf Habibie Hasta, representing the Chair of the TLSF 2025 Organizing Committee, explained that the event was born out of BEM FH Untar’s commitment to recognizing the vast potential of students in the field of sports. “We see that many students possess exceptional athletic abilities. That’s why we aim to provide a positive and competitive space where these talents can grow and be appreciated,” he stated.
TLSF is not merely an internal event. This year, the intercollegiate tournament welcomed participation from several renowned universities, including Universitas Brawijaya, Universitas Pembangunan Jaya, Universitas Islam Nusantara, Universitas Negeri Jakarta, among many others. The competition featured three main sports: basketball, badminton, and futsal.
Through events like TLSF, Untar demonstrates its commitment to being a university that not only emphasizes academic excellence but also actively supports the development of soft skills, sportsmanship, and social networking among students across generations and campuses. Untar firmly believes that a balance between knowledge and character is the key to shaping well-rounded future leaders.
