The Student Executive Board of the Faculty of Communication Sciences at Tarumanagara University (BEM Fikom Untar) successfully held Artcation 2025, an inclusive program themed “Exploring Your Passion Through Creation”, aimed at transforming creativity into business opportunities.
Held on Friday, March 21, 2025, at Graha Swara, Untar Campus I, Artcation was open to the entire academic community and the general public. This event featured workshops and inspirational seminars, serving as a platform for creative expression and learning how to turn hobbies into entrepreneurial ventures.
The Chair of Artcation 2025, Jeconia Axela Bong, expressed his hope that this event would serve as a platform for channeling creativity and encouraging participants to take their first steps in entrepreneurship through the things they love.
“There is plenty of room for innovation. With common and easily accessible materials, we can create anything based on our creativity. Plus, we can produce items that are not only beautiful but also functional”, Jeconia explained when asked about the choice of the crochet workshop.

This year, Artcation collaborated with Ivy Craft to present a crochet workshop. In addition, a special session titled HEPITalk became a highlight of the event. This session emphasized Fikom Untar’s core values – Humanism, Entrepreneurship, Professionalism, and Integrity (HEPI) – aiming to inspire participants to apply these principles in their creative pursuits.
The Dean of Fikom Untar, Dr. Riris Loisa, M.Si., was also present and delivered a warm speech, expressing appreciation to the entire committee for successfully organizing the event. She emphasized the importance of creative spaces like this in supporting students’ potential.
In the HEPITalk session, BEM Fikom Untar collaborated with Ivy Craft, a Jakarta-based crochet brand, to present Ivana Clarissa as an inspirational speaker. As the founder of Ivy Craft and an alumna of the Faculty of Economics and Business (FEB) Untar, Ivana shared her success story of building a business from her passion for crochet.

“This event is truly inspiring, especially for beginners who want to turn creativity into the foundation of their business. Untar teaches that limitless creativity can be a driving force”, said Ivana.
