Wardaya High School, founded by Dr. Anton Wardaya, M.Sc., CDMS, organized an educational visit to Tarumanagara University (Untar) with its students. The event, held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025, aimed to broaden the students’ perspectives on higher education and assist them in making informed decisions for their next educational step.

The group from the school, located in West Jakarta, was warmly welcomed by the Rector of Untar, Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., as well as the Chair of the Tarumanagara Foundation, Prof. Dr. Ariawan Gunadi, S.H., M.H. In his welcome speech, Prof. Amad emphasized that Untar is always open to students who wish to gain a deeper understanding of the academic world and personal development in higher education.

“We hope that this visit can provide new insights for the students in planning their future. Untar is committed to delivering quality education that aligns with the needs of the workforce,” said Prof. Amad.

Meanwhile, Dr. Anton Wardaya explained that this visit is part of the school’s efforts to guide students in becoming more prepared to face the challenges in higher education.

“We want to provide students with a firsthand experience of the campus atmosphere and the learning process in higher education. Our hope is that they will feel more confident in choosing a major that aligns with their interests and talents,” he said.

During the visit, the students participated in various engaging activities, such as a campus tour, interactive discussion sessions, and presentations on scholarship opportunities and career prospects from various study programs at Untar. Additionally, they also attended a session on self-introduction, presented by Untung Subroto, a Psychology lecturer at Untar.

Through this visit, it is hoped that the students will gain a clearer understanding of the world of higher education and become more motivated in planning their academic future. (VC/AJ/YS/VC)
