Professor of Law at Untar, Prof. Dr. Ariawan Gunadi, S.H., M.H., received an award from the Industrial Engineering and Operations Management (IEOM) Society International. The award was presented at the 15th Annual International Conference organized by IEOM on February 20, 2025, at the Holiday Inn Singapore Atrium, Singapore.
On this occasion, Prof. Dr. Ariawan Gunadi, S.H., M.H., who also serves as the Chairman of the Tarumanagara Foundation, was awarded the Outstanding Professor Award in Industry & Trade, Law in recognition of his contributions to the field of Industrial Engineering and Operations Management. This award further solidifies his role as an academic who actively contributes to advancing industry, operations management, and international trade law.
In his speech, he expressed gratitude and thanks for the award he received. He acknowledged that the recognition was a reflection of the efforts made by all parties involved.
“I stand on this stage in Singapore, and it is a moment I cannot describe in words. I am grateful because all of you recognize our efforts and have chosen us to receive the ‘International Award from IEOM Society International’ in collaboration with SUSS (Singapore University of Social Sciences),” he said.

The conference was also attended by delegates from 54 countries, along with the IEOM International Board in collaboration with the Singapore University of Social Sciences. In addition to the conference sessions, the event also served as a platform to honor professors and academics from various countries who have made significant contributions to the development of industrialization, operations management, supply chain management, and international trade law.
Previously, Ariawan Gunadi had also received international recognition. Among the awards he received was the Distinguished Academic Leadership Award in 2022, in recognition of his academic leadership, contributions to education in Indonesia, and his dedication to public service in Istanbul, Turkey.
This achievement reaffirms his dedication and commitment to the academic and professional world, particularly in the fields of industry, operations management, and international trade law.
