LKMM: A Platform for Students to Become Future Leaders

The Student and Alumni Affairs Institution of Universitas Tarumanagara (Lemawa Untar) conducted the Student Management Skills Training (LKMM) for three days, starting from February 2, 2025, in Bogor, West Java.

This activity, which has been regularly conducted for the past five decades, is aimed at training students involved in student organizations (Ormawa) under Untar. The training participants include representatives from each Ormawa at Untar, such as the Student Representative Council (DPM), Student Executive Board (BEM), Student Court (MM), and representatives from Student Activity Units (UKM).

The Head of Lemawa, Tri Sutrisno, S.Si., M.Sc., who attended the event, stated that the LKMM serves as a platform for learning, enabling students to become transformational leaders and solve existing societal issues.

Also present was the Rector of Untar, Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., who advised the students to take this opportunity to equip themselves with skills that can be applied in both personal life and organizational settings.

“I hope that all participants can implement the knowledge gained here, both for personal development and the sustainability of the organization,” he said.

The LKMM activity also featured various speakers to enhance participants’ understanding and skills on various topics, including the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). It is hoped that through this activity, the synergy for the advancement of the organization can be strengthened. (VC/YS/AJ/VC)
