Synopsis
The book “VISUALISASI KARYA PEMBANGUNAN YAYASAN TARUMANAGARA DALAM FOTOGRAFI Seri I” is a form of work and appreciation from us, Sunarjo Leman from the Civil Engineering Bachelor’s Program and Ruby Chrisandi from the Visual Communication Design Bachelor’s Program, as Photography Lecturers at Universitas Tarumanagara. We sincerely hope that this book can serve as a valuable work showcasing the achievements of development through architectural photography. Architectural photography is an art that combines visual beauty with technical expertise to capture the essence of buildings and human-made structures.
In this book, readers can discover the fundamental principles of composition, the use of light, perspective, and specialized techniques that can help produce stunning architectural photographs, which are often difficult to capture with the naked eye. This book is aimed at photographers of all levels, whether beginners or professionals, who wish to deepen their knowledge and skills in this field.
Author Profiles
Ir. Sunarjo Leman, M.T.
Graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering in 1990 and a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering in 2007 from Tarumanagara University. Has been a permanent lecturer in the Civil Engineering Bachelor’s Program since 1999, specializing in Structural and Construction Engineering, with the academic rank of Lecturer. Areas of expertise include Finite Element Method Modeling and Computer Programming in the Civil Engineering Program. Additionally, has been involved in photography since 1980 and has taught at the Department of Architecture, Faculty of Communication, and Faculty of Fine Arts and Design at Tarumanagara University, Jakarta. Photography interests include Landscape, Architecture, Nature, Macro, Product, and Fashion.
Ruby Chrisandi, S.Sn., M.Ds.
Graduated and obtained Master of Design degree in 2010. His career started at print media as a graphic designer, then gained experience in photography and professional videography. To support his profession, he took competency certificate in photography which he obtained in 2016. Started to teach in Faculty of Arts and Design Untar since 2000. His publications are DKV Untar Multimedia Final Project book and photoworks in Flower for the Brides Series: A bridal Bouquet Collection 1& 2 books. Fields of interest in research are digital media and multimedia, especially virtual technology immersion and the behavior of its users. Services in community engagements are photography, video, and augmented reality trainings.
