Tarumanagara University (Untar) held a Farewell Gathering on February 7th for students from Ngee Ann Polytechnic Singapore who had completed their internship program at Tarumanagara Enterprise. The event served as both a farewell and a form of appreciation for the participants’ dedication throughout the program.
Held at Building M, 5th Floor of Untar’s Campus I, the event was attended by Untar Rector, Prof. Dr. Amad Sudiro, S.H., M.H., M.Kn., M.M., who expressed appreciation and shared motivational messages with the internship students.
“I would like to congratulate all the participants of this Internship Program for successfully completing the internship. I hope the experience in Jakarta has provided many valuable lessons, and I look forward to meeting you again in future programs. Wishing you all continued success,” said Prof. Amad Sudiro in his speech.
As a form of appreciation, Untar presented certificates to two internship students from Ngee Ann Polytechnic, Ho Qin Xin and Ying Jian Fei. They had been part of the program from September 9, 2024, and successfully completed it on February 10, 2025.
On this occasion, Ho Qin Xin and Ying Jian Fei shared their experiences during their internship at Tarumanagara Enterprise.
“I am very grateful to have participated in this program because I gained a lot of new experiences and insights into a culture different from Singapore. Additionally, I also experienced living independently in Jakarta, away from my family, which was a valuable experience,” said Ying Jian Fei.
Ho Qin Xin also added, “I feel very fortunate to have received this opportunity. Being able to study abroad and live independently has been an incredible experience. Thank you for welcoming us so warmly.”
The event was then concluded with a group photo session as a souvenir.
