Doc: Humas Untar – WA

The Technology Thesis Exhibition of Untar’s Electrical Engineering Bachelor’s Students was held to showcase the works of seventh-semester students, featuring 11 innovative projects related to technology, programming, and electronic devices. The exhibition took place in front of the Secretariat of Building L, 3rd Floor, Campus 1 Untar, on Friday, December 13, 2024.

The event began with a report from the Head of the Electrical Engineering Study Program, Ir. Yohanes Calvinus, S.T., M.T., who expressed gratitude to various industry and school partners who had participated. The industry partners involved included PT Galva, PT Sinarmas Agro Resource and Technology, PT Huawei Tech Investment, and PT Red Hat Indonesia. Additionally, participating schools included SMAK Ipeka Tomang 2, SMA Dharma Suci, SMA Santa Theresia, and many others.

The Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Untar, Ir. Harto Tanujaya, S.T., M.T., Ph.D., delivered a speech and officially opened the event, expressing hope that the exhibition would provide new insights to visitors regarding the vast potential in the field of Electrical Engineering. He also emphasized the importance of innovation produced by students that could be patented and further developed for the benefit of the industry and future careers.

The event took place from 09:00 AM to 03:00 PM WIB, with attendees given the opportunity to vote for the showcased works via a Google Form. The voting results will determine the best project, which will be announced at the end of the event. (WA/YS/AJ/WA)
