Students of Architecture Study Program of Faculty of Engineering (FT) Untar Luist Yansen won 1st Place National Winner in American Standard Design Awards (ASDA) 2024, Monday (29/4).

ASDA is an online competition that serves as a platform for all design students in the Asia Pacific region to express creative ideas and innovative design solutions.

In 2024, the annual competition organized by American Standard carries the theme “Home Away From Home”. All participants competed to design a comfortable hospitality bathroom that gives a warm feeling of home.

Through his work titled “Limitless Space, Limitless Experience”, Luist applied his knowledge and ability in mastering the world of design gained during his studies at Untar.

He explained that his work applies the concept of space placement and combination of design elements. His design integrates the bathroom into the bedroom with a closet to facilitate movement and create a seamless transition.

According to him, this is what is referred to as “Limitless Experience”.

“I would advise you not to forget to look at the small details in your work, as they can make or break your success,” he added.

For this victory, Luist will represent Indonesia at the Asia-Pacific Judging stage to compete for the title of Asia Pacific Winner for American Standard Design Awards 2024 in May 2024. (CS/AW/KJ)
