28 until 30 April 2016, the Robotics Team (UNTAR) has attended the Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI) 2016  Region  2 at “Universitas Pendidikan Indonesia” (UPI) in Bandung. Robotics Team UNTAR attend the Abu Indonesian Robot Contest category (KRAI), Fire Extinguisher Robot Contest Indonesia (KRPAI) both legged and wheeled division, and Football Robot Contest Indonesia (KRSBI). In the category KRAI, ROBUNTA (UNTAR) stopped in the quarterfinals after the submission of a strong team from ITB. Iin the category KRPAI, ROTA (UNTAR) cannot proceed to the third trial because they have not put out any fire, and COSTA (UNTAR) managed to extinguish the fire twice (in trial 2 and 3) and proceed to 5th rank.

In this contest, Robotics Team UNTAR successfully awarded as the runner up in the category of KRSBI. Tim KRSBI UNTAR with the name “Devata” consisting of Danieal (535130080), Januar Chayadi (525140026), Kevin William (545140106), Firbert Oktariko (535140091), Anthony Susanto (545150043), and Jason Williamson (525150007) managed to reach the semi-finals after being the champion of A group. Devata managed to win in the group after doing 1 goal. With these results, Devata has a chance to be back competing at the national level KRI 2016 on 1 to 4 June next in “Politeknik Elektronika Negeri Surabaya” (PENS). “CONGRATULATIONS”
