Mega Waty, S.T., M.T. clinched the Doctor of Civil Engineering on Tuesday, August 29th, 2017 at Universitas Tarumanagara (UNTAR), Jakarta.  She got this achievement after defending her dissertation about material waste modelling and risk management in the road construction project.

The open court defense led by Prof. Ir. Chaidir Makarim, M.S.E., Ph.D. and consisted of Prof. Ir. Sofia W. Alisjahbana, M.Sc., Ph.D. (Promoter), Dr. Ir. Onnyxiforus Gondokusumo, M.Eng. (Co-Promoter), Ir. Dadang Ma’soem, M.S.C.E., Ph.D., Prof. Dr. Manlian Ronald A. S., S.T., M.T. and Dr. Ir. Najid, M.T.

After the defense, Mega congratulated directly by Rector of UNTAR Prof. Dr. Agustinus Purna Irawan, S.T., M.T.  He knew that her struggle to reach the degree is not easy because she has to managed her limited time for her work as the Academic in UNTAG Samarinda and her role as the mother of three kids.
