In October and November 2016 Ago, Faculty of Engineering Untar’s Student, the student of Civil Engineering Department held a tree-planting event. The event took the theme “Tree for Life”. This theme was taken because we cannot deny that everyday, sometimes we do not care about our environment . So by holding this activities, it is expected that environmental conditions can be better.

This activities took place in the Grogol area which is Empang Bahagia with the Chairman of the committee is Justian Anugrah (325140039) under the supervise of the leader of IMASTA, Hartono Wijaya (325130128). The event was attended by 57 committee, the representative of the department and the external parties with total 102 participants. Some of them was the commander of Kodim 0503 / West Jakarta, Head of the Parks & Cemeteries Jakarta Provincial Parks Department Chief & Cemeteries West Jakarta Administration, Grogol Urban Village Chief, and Chief of RW 09.

Hopefully with this event, the Environmental Conditions will be Better. Hopefully this event can motivate people to keep and care about natural heritages which are given to the human kind. Keep going your good work IMASTA.
