University Choir of Tarumanagara (PSUT) won the championship in the international choral event Isola del Sole 8th International Choir and Festival in the city of Grado, Italy (1/10).The event was organized by Interkultur for the purpose of the annual competition and promote Grado city. Categories in this event, are Mixed choir consisting of A1 & B1, Female choir, Male choir, Children choir, Folklore and Musica sacra.

PSUT champion won in the category of Mixed Choir Difficulty 1 with 23.63 points and get a Gold Diploma IV, Folklore category won with 25.33 points and get the gold diploma v, then in the Musica Sacra category with 22:00 points and get the Gold Diploma II.

Students of FIKom UNTAR who participating as members of PSUT is Beatrix Tunjung. Students force 2013 admitted that she love to sing and follow choir since elementary school.

“Hopefully, by following international competitions can be a learning experience for my own personal, friends and choir more in a better understanding of the world of music choral and also for the future may PSUT can have the opportunity to enter the competition nationally and internationally and make the almamater better,” said Beatrix.
