In recent times the doctoral students of Civil Engineering Sciences held a meeting with the Chairman of the Program, the Promoter and academic Head Doctor of Science in Civil Engineering. The meetings usually are held when a student enters the beginning of the term and when students will be submitting a dissertation.

As a meeting which held last Saturday (30/7). From the meeting is known, the students who will be submitting a dissertation and there are some students who have been coaching with the promoters was there. The meeting discussed the proposed topic of research proposals, prospective promoters and coaching mechanism with the promoters.

Prof. Ir. Roesdiman Soegiarso, M.Sc., Ph.D. as chairman of the Doctoral Program in Civil Engineering provides an explanation of the proposed topics to be studied for the prospective promoters. The head of the study program also provides a solution for students who are having difficulties in implementing the guidance of the promoter. At the end of the meeting, The head of the study program advises for students to do research seriously, no plagiarism and any conduct student guidance should provide assistance to the promoter’s books is recording progress.
