Electrical Engineering Program Faculty of Engineering was re-accredited by the National Accreditation Board of Higher Education (BAN-PT) on August 2, 2016 by 2 (two) assessors which are Prof. Dr. Ir. Sasongko Pramono Hadi DEA from Gadjah Mada University and Dr. Ir. Andani, M.T. from the University of Hasanuddin Makassar. Both the member of assessors welcomed by the University Rector Tarumanagara, then they visit the Faculty of Engineering and was greeted by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Agustinus Purna Irawan. After that, they headed to the Electrical Engineering Department for Evaluation. The Dean, accompanied by the Chairmans of the Faculty and the Department, explained in front of the assessors. The Result of evaluation on Electrical Engineering which is told by assessors include: Renewal of Laboratory Equipment,  Vision and Mission draft, and Human Resources (HR) which needs to be improved such as rank and Education S-3, as well as the cooperation with the institutions concerned with electrical engineering and also emphasized on curriculum change. On the last occasion, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering explained that the university curriculum Tarumanagara leads to entrepreneuship.
