Students of the Interior Design Study Program in the Faculty of Design and Arts at Tarumanagara University achieved the award for the Best Bedroom category in the Perfect Home Young Designer’s Award 2015. The assessment process took three days by the well-known interior designers from HDII. The students received money as an award and had the opportunity to attend similar events in the national scope. This team consisted of the following students; Clorinda Leolina, Letitia Rena, Lucia Lanny, and Geovani Angelina who were guided and accompanied by their advice lecturer Adi Ismanto, S.Sn., M.T. The Perfect Home Young Designer’s Award 2015 Competition was participated by students attending well-known Interior Design Programs in Jakarta, such as Tarumanagara University, Mercu Buana University, Lasalle Collage, Trisakti University, and Bina Nusantara University. The participants were required to design two kinds of rooms in a house and make them into a mock-up 36m2 size for the exhibition display. To turn a design concept into a mock-up, the teams had to work hard, coordinate, and compete against each other.  They received help from the exhibition vendors, such as KARE, Aneka Papera Indah, Milan EcoWood, Lexa Home, Zimmer Rattan, and Florence. The UNTAR’s team also received support from other vendors outside of the exhibition, such as Box Living Furniture and Fio Home. The Perfect Home Young Designer’s Award event is an interior design competition held for the students in higher education to help them in development and creativity of the new interior design generation. This event was held by HDII Label Designer (Indonesia’s Interior Designer Community), HDII DKI, and PT Debindo-ITE Group on November  18^th – 22^nd, 2015 at the Jakarta Convention Center, Jakarta.
