On March 22, 2016 students of Information Systems Department, Faculty of Information Technology, University Tarumanagara got a chance to visit and attend guest lectures in PT Oracle Indonesia, which is located on Jl. Asia Afrika 8 Sentral Senayan I, 9th Floor Lounge Bromo 9032. Student visits to PT Oracle Indonesia is accompanied by two Information Systems lecturers, that are Mrs. Desi Arisandi, M.T.I., As Head of the Information Systems Department, and Mr. Tony, M. Kom.  The guest lecture separated into two batches, the first batch running at 10.00 – 12.00 AM, while the next batch running at 13.00 – 15.00 PM. The guest lecture began with the opening by the PT Oracle Indonesia representative, Mr. Gatot Widhardo, S.P. He gives a short lecture to students about the importance of equipping themselves to face the work environment, specialty in the field of IT. One of the important things that must achieve by student is certification in the field of IT to prove their expertise. “Because the World of IT Industry Does Not Need People Smart, but People Who Want to Learn is More Needed ” said Mr. Gatot.

Guest lecture from Mr. Gatot Widhardo, S.P., closing the visitation activities, and we were very fortunate to visit and gain knowledge from PT Oracle Indonesia which is one of the largest software companies in the world.
