Thursday (7/4), Padjadjaran University, Bandung hosted a closed meeting for ASPIKOM’s management in national and regional levels. This meeting was scheduled to evaluate the management of period 2014-2016, as well as preparation for ASPIKOM National Congress that will be held in Medan on this May.

This meeting was attended by the chiefs of Communication Studies from various cities across Indonesia, among others, from Medan, Bali and Gorontalo. This meeting was also attended by Daily Executive Officer Dean of Faculty of Communication Sciences Tarumanagara University, Drs. Wdayatmoko, MM., M.I.Kom, as ASPIKOM’s treasurer, and Vice Dean of Academic and Student Affairs, Dr. Riris Loisa, M.Si, as ASPIKOM’s Curriculum Manager.

ASPIKOM is the only one medium that gather the chiefs of higher education in Communication Studies throughout Indonesia. This association was established on March 23, 2007 in Salatiga, Central Java. Since the beginning of its establishment until today, FIKOM UNTAR has been actively involved in the activities and managements of ASPIKOM, as a form of participation in the effort to improve the quality of higher education management in communication studies in Indonesia (RL)
