Dr. Riris, the best graduate of Doctor of Communication Studies from Universitas Indonesia, is actively conducting exploration in media and intercultural communication. In recent years, her research has focused on diversity in cyber media coverage moreover community service carried out in the form of providing media literacy to high school students, organizational communication training, and others. Other than being active in the management of the Communication Science Higher Education Association, especially in the curriculum department, she is also listed in the supervision of the Indonesian Communication Studies Association, especially in the scientific division development department.
