Established in 1988, Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning – Real Estate (PWK-RE) Study Program is the pioneer in real estate-based urban planning education in Indonesia and is B-accredited. The program can be completed within 7 semesters, designed and implemented to produce graduates able to compete and can be absorbed directly by the professional world by bringing the world of industry and education closer together.

Career spectrum of Bachelor of Urban and Regional Planning – Real Estate Study Program is broad, ranging from government, private, to non-profit organization, making PWK-RE graduates have the opportunity to be accepted in various national and international companies in the field of urban planning and real estate. Up to 2021, PWK-RE has produced more than 1.400 alumni achieving in the fields of Property Valuation, Property Development (Developer), Property Consultant, Provincial Government, Ministry, and many others.

Implementing the Blended Learning system and cross-study learning through the Independent Learning Independent Campus (MBKM) program, the curriculum carries based on industrial needs while integrating scientific curricula and field practices. The Recognition of Prior Learning for students with work experience and achievements in the academic and non-academic fields also applies for students having experiences in Building and Property Management, Property Marketing, Property Valuation,, Property Development, and others having academic or nonacademic achievement.

PWK-RE actively collaborates with Colliers International Indonesia (International Property Consultant), Knight Frank Indonesia (Valuation company & property consultant), Office of Public Valuation Services, and many other national and international professional companies. Aside from professional industries, PWK-RE also actively cooperates with various professional association, such as Planning Expert Association (IAP), Indonesian Society of Appraisers (MAPPI), Indonesian Real Estate Broker Association (AREBI), and Real Estate Indonesia (REI).

City PlanningStudents will be taught to recognize the scope of principles and foundations as well as professions in the field of regional and urban planning, which in their journey will be used as a basic understanding of various theories/concepts and the history of urban planning. Students will learn to carry out critical evaluations of the practice and application of urban planning through theoretical understanding and implementation of urban planning in several general and specific cases in Indonesia, especially in Jakarta. Students will also look at the physical aspect but also the non-physical aspect (social community) and how both will influence city planning.
Real Estat Development 1Students will acquire knowledge of the meaning, scope, principles, and characteristics of regional development. Thorugh this course students can understand the objectives of regional development and the role of the private sector in developing the built environment in both urban and rural areas. Additionally, students will recognize and comprehend the eight stages involved in real estate development. They will also understand the connection between economic factors and planning and design techniques in area development, based on real estate principles. Furthermore, students will learn about the operational mechanisms of various components involved in real estate activities, specifically in relation to site and improvement. Students will also acquire knowledge on the fundamental aspect of urban and regional development, specifically Housing Planning, which encompasses physical, economic, legal, and environmental considerations.
Real Estate Market AnalysisThis course provides information and understanding on real estate market analysis, encompassing macro and microeconomic principles. This will enable students to gather, process, and analyze data, thereby gaining knowledge and comprehension of the overall real estate market especially in Jakarta as well as specific property types (residential, apartment, office, commercial, and industrial) in Indonesia.
Urban HousingThis course offers comprehensive insights into the development of housing in metropolitan locations with case studies in Indonesian cities, considering both physical factors such as location and site, as well as non-physical factors including economic, legal, social, and institutional aspects. Students are expected to comprehend the significance of housing as a fundamental foundation for the growth and progress of a city and its surrounding area.
