Artificial Intelligence w/ Huawei Technology | Mankind is welcoming the fourth industrial revolution represented by intelligent technology. New technologies such as Artificial Intelligence (AI), Internet of Things (IoT), 5G and bioengineering are integrated into all aspects of human society. As the world’s leading provider of information and communication (ICT) infrastructure and smart terminals, Huawei actively participates in the transformation of artificial intelligence and proposes Huawei’s full-stack and full-scenario AI strategy. This course introduces AI overview, technical fields and application fields of AI, Huawei’s AI development strategy, and future prospects of AI. This course follows Huawei’s AI module and helps students prepare for the Huawei Certified ICT Associate (HCIA) – AI exam.
Technopreneurship (SMEs) | This course introduces the concepts and practices of technopreneurship, which is the process of creating and growing technology-based ventures. Students will learn how to identify opportunities, develop business models, validate customer needs, design products, and pitch to investors. The course will also cover how technopreneurs can help small and medium enterprises (SMEs) leverage technology to improve their operations, reach new markets, and innovate. Through case studies, guest lectures, and hands-on projects, students will gain insights and skills to become successful technopreneurs in various domains. Student will also have the opportunity to work with selected SMEs and potentially implement the final project product to their business.
Operation Research | This course introduces the principles and methods of operation research, which is the application of scientific techniques to the management and optimization of complex systems. Students will learn how to formulate, model, analyze, and solve various types of decision problems using mathematical tools such as linear programming, network analysis, simulation, and game theory. The course will also expose students to real-world applications and case studies of operation research in Indonesia, covering domains such as transportation, logistics, health care, and manufacturing. Students will have the opportunity to interact with guest lecturers and practitioners who are experts in their fields and gain insights into the challenges and opportunities of operation research in practice.
Data Mining & Remote Sensing | This course introduces the concepts and techniques of data mining, which is the process of discovering patterns and knowledge from large and complex data sets. Students will learn how to apply various data mining methods, such as classification, clustering, association rule mining, and anomaly detection, to solve real-world problems in different domains. The course will also focus on the use of satellite data for landscape studies, which is an important application of data mining for environmental monitoring, urban planning, disaster management, and natural resource management. Students will explore how to acquire, process, analyze, and visualize satellite data for landscape studies, using case studies from Indonesia and other regions. The course will also cover the latest techniques and research in data mining, such as deep learning, ensemble methods, and domain-driven data mining. Students will gain hands-on experience with data mining tools and platforms, such as Google Earth Engine, MATLAB, and R. |
