Public Class For Entrepreneurship Week 8 was held on 19th of August, 2016 at R Building 11th floor, Campus 1, Tarumanagara University an opening for series of events to Entrepreneurship Week 8. Entrepreneurship Week (EW) is held every semester to give an experience for the students to increase their entrepreneurship skills, show, and sell products from their business. EW is a collaboration of three faculties: Faculty of Information Technology (FTI), Faculty of Visual Art and Design (FSRD), and Economic Faculty (FE) for Management Major.
According to the Head of the event, Franky Slamet, S.T., M.T., the purpose of this event is to make the same perspective of entrepreneurship. He said that there were three important components to make a Startup Business: a collaboration of business aspect, design aspect, and programming aspect. In Entrepreneurship Week, students from those faculties will make a group develop a new business together.
One of the agenda of this event was listening to the material presented by the Director of Tarumanagara Center for Entrepreneurial Studies Dr. Ir. Chairy, SE., MM. He said that everyone can have an entrepreneurship skill from their own ethnic and family habits. But, it doesn’t mean it can’t be learned. This event was attended by some lecturers and students.
